About Podcasting

Podcasting is a method of publishing audio — and increasingly audiovisual — files to the Internet. Users can subscribe to a feed and receive new files automatically using readily available, free software. Any digital audio player or computer equipped with podcasting software can download and play podcasts.

Podcasts from the Legislative Assembly of British Columbia

Having completed the successful trial of the audio podcasts of Oral Question Period, the Throne Speech and the Budget Address in February 2006, Hansard Broadcasting Services is now providing this service on a continuous basis.

Beginning in February 2007, Hansard Broadcasting Services will also provide, on a trial basis, video podcasts of Oral Question Period, the Throne Speech and the Budget Address. Please be patient as the large files may take a few minutes to download depending on your connection speed.
